Το Δημαρχείο και η Place de Greve, το σημερινό Δημαρχείο Place, σημερινό 4ο διαμέρισμα. Αστικό τοπίο. Στα αριστερά, η προκυμαία Pelletier, που χτίστηκε το 1675, έχει θέα στην απεργία που έδωσε το όνομά της. Πίσω από το Δημαρχείο, που περιβάλλεται ακόμα από «σπίτια με κολώνες», βλέπουμε τους πύργους του Saint-Jean-en-Greve.

Το Greve βρισκόταν μέχρι τη Δεύτερη Αυτοκρατορία από μια γειτονική περιοχή του ενός τέταρτου της σημερινής τοποθεσίας. Χωριζόταν σε δύο άνισα μέρη με μια σειρά πασσάλων που χώριζε το κάτω μέρος με κλίση προς το λιμάνι, του πάνω μέρους, το ίδιο το μέρος. Η απεργία στο λιμάνι ήταν, στην πραγματικότητα, μια σουίτα από συγκεκριμένα λιμάνια ευθυγραμμισμένα κατά μήκος της δεξιάς όχθης του Σηκουάνα από τον δρόμο των μπαρ μέχρι την οδό Lavandières-Sainte-Opportune: σανό μαρίνας, κρασί, σιτάρι, σιτηρά, ξύλο, κάρβουνο, αλάτι, πολλοί μύλοι το χωρισμένο νερό.
