This allegorical representation of Asia is part of a series of the four continents, painted as an overdoor. It is possible that, like the other large-scale allegorical frescoes in this gallery, it may have been detached around 1900 from the Palazzo Valle-Marchesini-Sala in Vicenza.

About the art print "Asia"

Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo was a male painter, printmaker from Italy, whose style can mainly be classified as Rococo.
